Lucas at 5 Months!

On Oct 24 Lucas turned 5 months old! He had a few firsts this month. He went to Disney for the first time and a Pumpkin patch! I think he still was too small to get excited when he got to Disney. I'm sure next time we will actually take him to see some of the characters, which I'm sure he will love. He got to ride two rides, our favorite Pirates and then the Haunted Mansion. I hadn't rode the Haunted mansion since they changed it and I think the ending is a lot cooler than it use to be. Lucas was a pretty happy baby all day.
He also got to visit a Pumpkin patch.
The little Mister has gotten his rolling under control. He was only rolling right, now he rolls both ways getting himself to and from much quicker. He also can push he upper body all the way up. He just recently started scooting backwards and moving his body in a circle. If he sees a toy he wants he shimmies his body towards it. As soon as he gets it he starts nawing away on whatever it is.
Little Mister is also very vocal. He looks at you and just starts a babbling away. He already has some great stories for such a young mister. He just loves to giggle. Sometimes he just looks at something and the giggling begins. Other times it's brought about by the torturous tickling. There is just something about a baby laugh that can make you forget about everything and put a smile on your face.
He loves to watch his big bro and his big bro loves to entertain him. I'm sure it won't be long before Lucas is crawling after Kalen. They already seem like the best of buds. Kalen brings him toys when he is upset and tries to feed him a bottle every now and then. He tries to play cars with him, but it mostly turns into Kalen pushing a car all around and over Lucas.
He has been eating homemade squash and sweet potatoes although he isn't the greatest at it. He would much rather watch his brother which makes it difficult to get a spoonful of food in his mouth. But he will get better. He seems to enjoy the food when we actually get it in his mouth.
Lucas still thinks its funny to wake up at 4. The hubs says Lucas just misses me and needs to see me. He has been getting quicker about eating and going right back to sleep. So hopefully he will soon stop waking up. Every now and then we get a tease and he sleeps till 630/7.
He already has some favorite toys. Two of them we call his angry toys because when we give them to him he yells at them while he plays with them. It's quite comical to watch. He also loves his taggie blanket which I finally remade since my moms dog got a hold of it and chewed on it like it was his own.
